Stage 1 - Review Your Requirements
1. Discuss and agree the basis of insurance cover required
2. Advise on suitable insurance cover and highlight any significant omissions to insure
3. Consider Health & Safety, Risk Management & Business Continuity and introduce specialist consultants where appropriate
Stage 2 - Develop Strategy
1. Discuss and review market conditions
2. Consider if going to market is appropriate and if so, identify potential markets
3. Court the key markets likely to compete for your business and generate competition
Stage 3 - Formal Market Approach
1. Produce a detailed written presentation and discuss risk with underwriters
2. Develop competition with chosen underwriters for competitive rates
3. Collate and evaluate quotations
Stage 4 - Assess Quotations and Report
1. Develop an appropriate insurance structure
2. Ensure this structure best meets your requirements, compared against your current cover
3. Prepare a written report and present our recommendations to you
Stage 5 - Complete the Insurance Placement
1. Confirm placement of cover with insurers; issue cover notes and certificates (as appropriate)
2. Meet with insurance risk surveyor at your premises (as appropriate)
3. Check and ensure prompt issue of policy documentation
Stage 6 - Maintain a watching brief
1. Advise you on insurance implications following changes to your business or circumstances
2. Arrange endorsements to your policy covers (as appropriate), and ensure accurate administration of your policy
3. Advise or comment on changes in legislation or developments in the insurance industry that may affect your cover
Stage 7 - Assistance with Claims
1. Your first point of contact in the event of a claim may be either an Insurers Emergency Helpline or by contacting us
2. We will advise on your policy cover and the best way to proceed
3. We will assist you in the administration of your claim with insurers
4. We will meet with Loss Adjusters with you (where appropriate), working to achieve a satisfactory and timely settlement from your insurer in accordance with the policy cover.
