In the event of a large claim, your insurers are likely to appoint a loss adjuster to handle the claim on their behalf and who will report to your insurers on the validity and cost of the claim and to agree a settlement with you.

In recognising where this level of expertise can be required, PJIS recommend a very cost-effective insurance policy that will pay for 100% of the costs of appointing your own Loss Adjuster for a material damage and/or business interruption claim that is likely to exceed £5,000.
